Director – Online Fundraising

We are hiring a Director – Online Fundraising, with experience in online fundraising, analytics and innovation. This position plays a key leadership role within the organization.

Who we are hiring:

We are looking for a brilliant campaign strategist with online organizing experience, expertise in online fundraising and analytics, and a commitment to build an informed, powerful base of LGBT people and allies to push progress faster, and to change politics and culture at every level. You will be a leader on our global campaigns team, with specific responsibility for building a powerful base of committed member donors. The position is part of the senior leadership team and will play a role in macro-level organizational strategy. The ideal candidate has a proven track record executing email-driven fundraising strategies, but has the creative and analytic chops to develop and test innovative approaches that incorporate emerging models and platforms.

We are hiring a leader who is excited to take strategic risks, act boldly, and creatively engage with our campaigns and fundraising strategies. You are an entrepreneur, who can pitch high-level strategy and manage a team to execute it. In fact, if you’re a bit obsessive about bringing together design, data, behavioral analysis and storytelling in new ways, you’re a perfect fit.

You have experience leading and project managing campaigns from start to finish. Specific experience leading online fundraising campaigns is a must, with a proven track record of success meeting fundraising goals. You have the ability to lead a project team in a high-paced global environment, and ideally have experience working in a dispersed international team. The idea of developing and executing high-impact, opportunity driven campaign strategies, and data-driven experiments to innovate on current tactics motivates you.You are a data and analytics junkie and can easily work with data scientists and developers to identify key data points and make strategic decisions. Working remotely in an international environment comes naturally to you, as you have the professional drive to work independently and the desire to remain connected to a virtual team. You are media savvy and fluent in verbal and written English with a very strong preference for at least one other language.

Job Location:

  • This position can be based anywhere and will require a training period in Paris (France) or New York City (USA).

Operations Associate


We are hiring an Operations Associate to manage bill pay, benefits, and general operations. This is a part-time position, with the potential to turn full-time later in the year, reporting to the Director of Operations.

Who we are hiring:

We are looking for an experienced operations associate, with expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable and experience working with confidential information. Under the direction of the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for: managing vendors; conducting AP/AR functions; managing components of Human Resources – recruitment, benefits administration, onboarding, and staff travel, ensuring effective and efficient procedures are in place; and recommending improvements to our suite of operational tools.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Finance:
    • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
    • Reviewing and coding invoices to ensure payables are in accordance with contracts
    • Processing payments
    • Overseeing the company Bookkeeper
  • Human Resources:
    • Recruitment: post and track job advertisements, screen applications, and manage the
    • recruitment inbox.
    • Benefits Administration
    • Develop and manage a new employee onboarding program
    • Staff Retreat: Lead on the logistics for the annual staff retreat
  • Online Donor Management:
    • Work with community management lead to respond to online donor inquiries and technical issues
  • General Administration:
    • Ensure we are in compliance with all NY State and Federal regulations
    • Light scheduling and organizing staff meetings/events


  • 2-3 years of office experience, specific experience with finance, accounting, human resources, or a related area highly desirable
  • Extremely detailed oriented, able to manage multiple work streams and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
  • Experience working with confidential information
  • Confident, self-directed, and collaborative
  • Desire to thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced start-up environment, with people who are passionate about their work and mission
  • Fluency in English, with a second language highly desirable. Specifically skills in Portuguese, Spanish and French highly preferred
  • A commitment to strengthening the voice of LGBT people as a path toward progressive change

Internship Programme

We are looking for passionate and talented individuals who will support and learn from our team as we launch new campaigns around the world. The ideal candidate is thorough and detail driven, self-motivated and entrepreneurial, and passionate about love and equality around the world. They should also be able to work independently and think creatively, and be able to initiate and follow through on projects.

Interns are eligible for academic credit. Fluency in English, and great writing skills are required. Bonus if you speak and can write in Spanish, Portuguese or French.

We have multiple Campaigns Internships available. Our campaigns interns research breaking news on lesbian, gay, bi or trans issues around the world, contribute to strategy discussions on new and existing campaigns, and help curate our social media content.
