Protect equality for same-sex couples in Ukraine

In Ukraine today, same-sex couples have no legal recognition – even when people are risking their lives at war.

A recent Supreme Court ruling changed that for one gay couple, recognizing their relationship officially – the first time ever in the country.

Right now, the country is rewriting their Civil Code. It doesn’t yet include recognition for same-sex couples, but we have a huge opportunity to change that.
