Albania's first LGBT+ online helpline

Instead of doing their jobs, far too many doctors and police officers in Albania insult and abuse LGBT+ people and even deny them their services altogether.

That’s why the Albanian organization Pro LGBT set up a helpline for LGBT+ people. Volunteers do their best to help the dozens of people who call every day, desperate for help. But this is not enough. Many need professional help from a doctor, a psychologist or a social worker and cannot get it.

That’s why we launched our first ever campaign in Albania. All Out members raised enough funds to allow Pro LGBT to provide proper training for helpline volunteers, hire a doctor, psychologist and social worker to be available twice a week and provide free service to those in need.
