All Out members came together in solidarity with LGBT+ Russians
In an inspiring display of global solidarity, All Out members came together in solidarity with the Russian LGBT+ community. Through donations, protests, and unwavering support, we've made strides in offering hope and aid to queer people in Russia.When Russia unjustly branded the "international public LGBT+ movement" as extremist, it ignited a fire within All Out members worldwide. Our response? A resounding wave of action, support, and solidarity that transcended borders, languages, and cultures.
Tens of thousands of All Out members jumped into action and supported Sphere Foundation’s campaign calling for safe passage for queer Russians.
Then, thousands of us made small donations to help evacuate queer people and their allies under attack.
And we didn’t stop there: During the Russian elections in March 2024, All Out members from around the world – from São Paulo to London, from New York to Bangalore – stood united in front of Russian embassies and city centers to protest the criminalization and show solidarity with the LGBT+ community in Russia.
However, our fight is far from over. The shadow of criminalization looms large, with recent detentions highlighting the ongoing risks faced by the LGBT+ community, but All Out members are committed to standing shoulder to shoulder with those fighting on the front lines.
