War in Lebanon: Emergency Funds for a Double Crisis
All Out members showed your solidarity with Lebanon’s LGBT+ community by donating funds to help them survive war, displacement, and discrimination. In October 2024, hundreds of people were killed and thousands forced to flee during Israel’s bombing of Lebanon.
This was catastrophic for the LGBT+ community in Lebanon, who already faced prejudice and repression, and who were often unable to access emergency support because of ongoing violence and discrimination.
During this human rights catastrophe, we asked All Out members to donate to support LGBT+ organizations on the ground in Lebanon. Our movement came through for the Lebanese LGBT+ community, raising over $10,000. These funds helped to provide first aid, food, water, other essential supplies, mental health care, and psychological support to LGBT+ people in Lebanon who were threatened both by war and by discrimination.
