The First LGBT+ Center in Venezuela

Venezuela has been in a complex economic crisis for the past seven years, facing devastating levels of poverty, food insecurity, violence, and murder.

For LGBT+ people, the challenges are even more severe, with a lack of protection, services, and exclusion from humanitarian efforts.

That's why we launched a Grassroots Giving campaign with Movimiento SOMOS to help them launch the very first center for LGBT+ people in Venezuela – a safe space offering free services like therapy, legal support, and economic empowerment training.
