We stopped this anti-LGBT+ bill in Namibia
All Out members helped stop this anti-LGBT+ bill in its tracks. But there is more to be done.In July 2023, Namibia’s Parliament passed a deeply harmful anti-LGBT+ bill. If signed into law, it would have criminalized queer activism and targeted LGBT+ human rights organizations.
When Namibian activists started a petition challenging the bill, 12,000 All Out members signed to show support. Every signature was a loud show of global solidarity.
In 2025, the outgoing President refused to sign the bill into law, citing constitutional concerns. This victory would not have been possible without the support of All Out members. Together we affirmed that love and dignity should never be criminalized.
But the fight is far from over. In Namibia, and in other African countries, there is an ongoing complex fight for equality. Join us as an Equality Champion and help All Out continue to fight for love and equality
