By choosing Saudi Arabia, FIFA is sending a clear message: financial interests matter more than human rights. This move legitimizes a government that actively suppresses LGBT+ people, silences dissent, and violates fundamental freedoms. It sets a dangerous precedent—one that says discrimination is acceptable as long as the price is right.
