The First Pride Rwanda
Following in the footsteps of Uganda and Eswatini, LGBT+ activists in Rwanda wished to organize the very first Pride event for their community.
All Out organized a crowdfunding campaign to help bring this dream to life and fund the festivities.
Thanks to the generosity of All Out members, the event turned out to be a great success.
The historic celebration started off with a football match, where LGBT+ community members played against a team of people from the media. Later, there was food, music, and celebration.
The unique event allowed LGBT+ Rwandans to come together and celebrate in a way that was authentic to them. It was one of the very few events that allowed community members to come together.
