Emergency aid for LGBT+ people displaced in Eastern DRC

Amidst massacres in eastern DRC, LGBT+ people have been displaced and are confronting dire circumstances in makeshift camps. Thanks to All Out members, emergency support was provided.

In 2024, devastating massacres in eastern DRC forced over 500,000 people to flee to Goma, the region’s urban hub. Amidst this chaos, LGBT+ people found themselves displaced, facing dire circumstances and discrimination in makeshift camps.

Hundreds of All Out members jumped into action and donated, to directly support LGBT+ people displaced by war and impacted by ongoing discrimination and persecution.

With their help, our partners at Rainbow Sunrise were able to provide vital resources such as food, housing, and medical care, offering a lifeline to those marginalized and overlooked during times of crisis.

This campaign highlights the power of global solidarity.
