Our campaigns are proof that love wins. Here are some of our greatest victories (so far!).
A shelter for LGBT+ youth in the pandemic
That is what many people in Mexico City are experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
And that's why local activists opened Casa Frida, a temporary shelter to support LGBT+ youth at this critical time.
But as the crisis continued and the requests for help kept coming in, Casa Frida needed urgent resources to continue operating. And that's where All Out members came in.
First, All Out made a donation as part of our COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund to help the shelter cover its most urgent expenses. Next, we launched a fundraising campaign in support of Casa Frida.
We also did an Instagram Live with influencer Ricardo Peralta to give the project more visibility and get more people to donate. You can watch it below, in Spanish:
In a few days, 161 members of All Out from all over Mexico joined in and donated more than 60,000 pesos (around US$2,000 dollars) to support Casa Frida.
