Supporting Prides in East Africa
In most African countries, Pride is still a protest. All Out members donated to support Pride events in Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania.
All Out members have supported Pride in Africa for seven years. In some of these instances, it was the first celebration of Pride in those countries ever.
In 2023, we launched our biggest Pride fundraiser ever to support Pride events in Uganda, Rwanda and for the first time, Tanzania.
Due to an increase in attacks and violence against LGBT+ people, local partners were inspired to host events that would strengthen their movements, provide hope and fuel their fights for equality.
In response, All Out members came together and raised enough funds to make these Pride events happen. It was yet another incredible show of global solidarity.
